Qualifying Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy Training
For many years we, at Naos, have been collaborating with the London Diploma (www.psychosexualtraining.org.uk) in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy (PRT) of which NAOS director Bernd Leygraf has been course director – alongside Judi Keshett-Or.
This training, certified as “the leading training provider for the profession” is about to close its doors with final intakes in 2025.
From 2026 NAOS will continue Bernd’s work at the London Diploma and further develop its own Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy course with a stronger emphasis on:
- International expertise rather than only UK (a relative small pool of practitioners)
- Academic, clinical, lived experience excellence
- Psychotherapy and particularly intimate systems
The training, two years, part-time in duration, shall be accredited with COSRT, the main specialist PRT body in the UK. It comprises one year with a focus on Relationship Therapy, followed by a second year leaning more into PRT that way enabling graduates to join RT and PRT registers upon completion of the training.
Bernd Leygraf will guide this programme, with David Piner and Dermot Kelly.
