Short bio
Ernesto Spinelli has wide experience of teaching psychotherapists and supervisors, most recently as a Senior Fellow at Regent’s College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology. In addition to his academic work he also maintains a private practice as a psychotherapist, executive coach and supervisor. Having recently published a new edition of his bestselling book, The Interpreted World: An Introduction To Phenomenological Psychology, his other books include Demystifying Therapy, Tales of Unknowing: Therapeutic Encounters From An Existential Perspective, and Practising Existential Psychotherapy: The Relational World. Ernesto is a Founding Member of the British Psychological Society Special Group in Coaching Psychology and is on the editorial board of the International Coaching Psychology Review. He is an existential psychotherapist registered with UKCP, a Fellow of the BACP, a Chartered Psychologist and Fellow of the British Psychological Society. Ernesto’s other academic awards include BA, MSc and PhD.
